Cleburne County Industrial Development Corporation, formed in 1987 to provide industrial and employment opportunities for Cleburne County citizens. Soon afterward, the group changed to Cleburne County Economic Development Corporation for a broader scope of opportunities.
The mission of the CCEDC is to “progressively promote and enhance the quality of life by fostering economic development for present and future citizens of Cleburne County”.
Businesses the CCEDC have and are working with are Rohr Industries, Superior Industries, Green Dental Lab, Nature Scent, Glynda Turley’s, Defiance Metal Products, First Electric Coop. Corp, Heber Springs Airport, also in securing the jet fuel tank at the airport, Arkansas State University Heber Springs and the John L. Latimer Skills Training Center.
